Our Mission

Prevention and Resiliency Services provide early intervention and prevention strategies that empower youth and families to make informed decisions, decrease substance use, and support a safe, healthy, and thriving community.

Our Key Values

• Evidence and research-based strategies are effective in reducing substance abuse and crime.
• Community members play an essential role in preventing crime–it takes a community to impact change.
• We must be current in our understanding of substances (alcohol, tobacco, and illicit drugs) and trends involving the use/misuse/abuse of them. Continuing to grow in this knowledge as it evolves is imperative.
• To affect change within our community, we must partner with diverse stakeholders.
• We must listen to and learn from those who are experiencing a substance use disorder, those with lived experience, and those whose lives have been impacted by relationships with these individuals.
• We must employ multiple strategies to reach our target audience; this is critical to our work.
• Our community is defined by the people we serve.
